Drunk by 84% of office workers in the UK every day, coffee is associated with an increase in alertness, concentration and performance. Ingrained into our work culture, it’s also a social drink – as the morning catch up by the vending machine would suggest.

According to Psychology Today, caffeine confuses receptors in the brain and tricks our bodies into thinking it has more energy than it does. Moreover, it can even improve memory and cognitive function; both vital factors of the workplace.

Moreover, it’s well known that highly processed diets can cause fatigue and eventually lead to obesity.
